Fees & Rebates

Out-of-pocket cost (gap): $178.45

Medicare rebates are available for individual therapy appointments only and do not apply to couples counselling.

Private health rebates are also available, however please check with your private health provider first.

Sessions fees are based on the recommended fee schedule provided by Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPi) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). The current recommended fee for a standard 40-60 minute consultation is $330 - $340. The current recommended fee for couples counselling (60 minutes) is $408 and $611 (for 90 minutes).

The recommended fee takes into consideration not just the session time but preparation time, note taking, psychometric scoring, correspondence and other tasks. The consultation fee for couples therapy is higher to given the preparation required and the complexity of conducting therapy with more than one person.
